Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) said that Ukraine needs more heavy weapons, according to urgent news broadcast by Al-Arabiya TV a short time ago.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Vlodomir Zelensky criticized German Chancellor Olaf Schulz for Germany's stance on the conflict in Ukraine.
Zelensky said - according to the "Russia Today" news channel - that "Germany began to help Ukraine much later than other countries, such as the United States, Britain, and the eastern countries of the European Union."
Zelensky noted the need for Berlin to abandon the approach through which the continued relations with both Ukraine and Russia in a way that does not harm Germany as little as possible.
He called on the German chancellor to announce tougher sanctions against Russia, increase support for Ukraine and place it as a candidate for the European Union during the visit.
