Deputy Secretary General of NATO, Radmila Shekerinska, is commencing an official visit to the United States of America, lasting until December 10 and covering the cities of Boston and Washington.

The first day of the visit is scheduled to be dedicated to Harvard University, where Shekerinska will deliver a speech at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the Kennedy School, followed by a panel discussion with students and international policy experts.

On December 9, the Deputy Secretary General will head to Washington to participate in the Transatlantic Forum of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (NATO PA).

She is set to deliver an opening address followed by an open dialogue with the forum members.

On the final day of the visit, December 10, Shekerinska will take part in a panel discussion at the Aspen Security Forum, attended by prominent security and diplomatic figures from both the European and American sides.

The visit comes within the framework of strengthening the strategic dialogue between both sides of the Atlantic, at a time when the Alliance is witnessing extensive discussions on the priorities for security and defense in the coming phase.
