Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Jens Stoltenberg reaffirmed the alliance's unwavering support for Ukraine.
He also noted that allies are committed to increasing political and practical support for Ukraine as it resists Russian military attacks, with the expectation that the winter will complicate the fighting between the two sides.
This came during NATO Chief meeting with newly-appointed Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustam Umerov.
Moreover, they discussed the latest developments on the battlefield and Ukraine's urgent military needs.
Furthermore, Stoltenberg stressed that NATO will provide long-term support to Ukraine to enable Ukrainian forces to operate fully within NATO and bring it closer to joining the alliance.
