The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, "categorically" denied the participation of fighters from the party in the ongoing Ukraine –Russia war alongside the Russian forces.
Nasrallah added that no one from Hezbollah, neither a fighter nor an expert, went to this arena or any of the arenas of these wars."
In his speech at the 37th annual ceremony of the Imam Mahdi Scouts Association, Nasrallah said: "I categorically deny the presence of fighters and experts from Hezbollah in Ukraine fighting alongside the Russian forces."
Nasrallah called on the Lebanese state and government "to form an emergency committee because the repercussions of the war reached Lebanon and the region."
