Nasr Announces Miss Arab World 2020 Terms of Submission [Video]

The organizing committee of Miss Arab World, chaired by Hanan Nasr, announced the details and terms of submission for the new season of the competition, which will start in March 2020.

Nasr said that the conditions of submission are to be an Arab citizen, aged between 18 and 28 years, a university student or graduate, never married before, has a full understanding of cultural activity and good general knowledge in addition to good reputation.

This came during a press conference, in Cairo, attended by El-Amira Samara Yahia, Miss Arab World 2019.

Nasr added that the Miss Arab contest was held for the past 12 years, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and recently under the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The competition will include a representative of all Arab countries, including those suffering from the scourge of war, to demonstrate the success of the competition in highlighting the beauty of Arab world even in the most difficult circumstances.

In her interview with Sada El-Balad English (SEE), Nasr pointed out that the competition will include many Arab participants, fashion designers and celebrities. Up to 18-22 Arab countries, including Egypt, Sudan, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria, Oman, Yemen, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq and Yemen will join the beauty pageant.

She explained that the main objective of the competition is the cultural exchange between Arab countries and the exchange of customs and traditions of each country participating in the Arab Tourism Festival in its thirteenth season.

She pointed out that two countries will participate for the first time in a competition such as the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia to compete for the title of Miss Arab.

As for the Miss Arab World Europe contest will be held in Belgium for participants from Arab communities living in the EU.
