Lebanese recording artist, Nancy Ajram has finished recording a new single entitled "Omy", which will be released in conjunction with Mother's Day as a gift to all mothers.
The single is by the lyrics of Emile Fahed, composed by Yahya Al-Hassan and distributed by Basem Rizk.
On the other hand, Ajram is slated to release soon a new album, which consists of 10 songs.
In a statement, she noted the reason behind the repeated delay of her album release was due to coronavirus, explaining that her fans will not enjoy the launch of new work amidst the circumstances of the pandemic.
Recently, Ajram along with Fairuz and were listed as top Arab artists on the newly launched Spotify EQUAL initiative.
The initiative kicked off on International Women’s Day and shed light on the women artists, podcast creators locally regionally and internationally via activations, new content experiences, on- and off-platform support and partnerships.
