Raghda Youssef, the granddaughter of the late Mohamed Naguib, the first president of Egypt, said that her sister, Nabawiya faced financial constraints and resorted to publishing a video directed to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in which she narrated all her financial problems.
Youssef added that the president responded to her sister's distress regarding the deterioration of her financial situation, and her requests were met, indicating that they are 5 grandchildren of the late President Naguib.
She explained: "We know that President Sisi honored the late President Mohamed Naguib and made the largest military base in his name, sure that he did not forget us and would not accept that we live in this suffering more than that."
She pointed out that the five grandchildren, all from one son of Naguib, and all of her uncles passed away during her grandfather's life, and they are not married.
The granddaughter added that she used to work as an accountant for the Arab contractors, but she left work due to the difficulty of coordinating her work schedule with raising her children.
