The defense ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh region announced on Thursday it had recorded another 30 casualties among its military which raised the military death toll to 350, according to Reuters.

The Nagorno-Karabakh region declared today, Thursday, the death toll among soldiers has risen to 350 since fighting with the Azerbaijani forces erupted on Sept. 27.

The conflict has surged to its worst level since the 1990s, when some 30,000 people were killed.

“The attacks carried out by Azerbaijan and Turkey is regarded a genocide against the inhabitants of the region,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Karabakh, which is not known internationally, confirmed.

“The Azerbaijani forces continue their attacks on civilian targets which indicates that they are under the control of Turkey.”

The Ministry also called on the concerned countries to stop fueling the ongoing aggression against the region.

In turn, the Armenian Foreign Ministry urged the need for an immediate ceasefire in Karabakh, showing its support stressing that there is no alternative to a political solution which could solve the crisis with Azerbaijan.
