The President of the unrecognized Karabakh Republic signed a decree dissolving all government institutions in the republic until January 1, 2024.
The decree stated: “All state institutions and organizations subject to its administrative affiliation shall be dissolved until January 1, 2024, and the Republic of Karabakh (Artsakh) will cease to exist.”
After the decree entered into force, residents of Karabakh, including those living outside the republic, were ordered to familiarize themselves with the reintegration conditions presented by Azerbaijan, in order to then decide independently whether to remain in the region or not.
The decree enters into force immediately upon its publication.
It should be noted that the decision was taken in relation to the current and complex military-political situation, on the basis of the priority of ensuring the physical security and vital interests of the people of Karabakh, taking into account the agreement reached through the mediation of the European Union, the leadership of the Russian peacekeeping unit with representatives of Azerbaijan to ensure the free, voluntary and unhindered passage of residents of Karabakh, including the passage of military personnel who have thrown their weapons and property into their vehicles along the Lachin Corridor, and direct them in accordance with Article 93 of the Constitution of Karabakh.
