North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un has ordered an increase in the production of weapons-grade nuclear material to boost the country's nuclear capabilities, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Tuesday.
He said the country should expand "the production of weapon-grade nuclear materials for thoroughly implementing the plan of the Party Central Committee on increasing nuclear arsenals exponentially and put spurs to continuing to produce powerful nuclear weapons."
Yonhap News Agency reported, quoting KCNA, that the North Korean military has once again tested an underwater nuclear weapon system that has the ability to create radioactive tsunamis.
According to Yonhap, the underwater system underwent tests from March 25 to 27.
