Muhammad continues in 2019, for the third consecutive year, to top baby names. According to Baby Center report, this Islamic name remains in pole position for the third year running, followed by Noah which creeped into the runner-up position, closely followed by Leo at number three.

Statistical Data obtained by experts at Baby Center revealed that there are no new entries into the top 10, although Charlie and Arthur continue to climb up the chart, landing at five and eight respectively.

While Jack moves down three places to number 10, Jaxon continues its meteoric climb as a new entry in the top 20, rising eight places to number 16. Another new entry in the top 20 is Lucas, jumping three places to number 20.

The British royals have once again made a mark in the charts with the nation's parents sending Louis soaring 65 places as the highest chart climber, landing at number 26. But Archie is falling out of favour, dropping six places to number 21.

The highest top 100 new entry is Kian at number 51, closely followed by Yusuf at number 52. They are joined by 10 more debutants, including Kayden, Ahmad and Myles. Albert, Jasper and Felix are among those to be knocked out of the charts.

For the girls names, at the very top, stays Olivia for the fifth year running, while Sophia clings on to the runner-up position from last year. Ava moves up two places, knocking Amelia out of third position and squeezing Lily out of the top five. This makes way for Isla to shuffle up three places to number five.

There are two new entries in the top 10 as Isabella moves up three places to number nine, hotly pursued by Freya. The Norse goddess name is the highest new entry into the top ten, moving 13 places up from number 23. Rosie makes it into the top 20, rising 14 places to number 17.

Fatima causes quite a stir by soaring 37 places as the highest top 100 chart climber, despite plummeting down the charts in 2018.
