Last year’s show, held on Aug. 30, 2020, was a virtual event. It was initially set to take place at Barclays, but the show was forced to go remote. Some performances were filmed on location in New York, and others were reportedly shot in remote cities such as Los Angeles and Seoul.
It included performances from Lady Gaga, the Weeknd, Miley Cyrus, the Black Eyed Peas, and others.
