A number of Parliament members have praised MP Mohamed Aboul Enein's proposal to launch various initiatives in support of the Central bank of Egypt (CBE) policy.

This came during the parliament's plenary session to discuss CBE's new draft law.

On his part, MP Tarek al-Said thanked CBE Governor Tarek Amer for his sincere efforts during the last period.

He also declared his support for Aboul Enein's proposal to support CBE through various initiatives, stressing that issuing new financial instruments is important, in light of the global market dealing with more than 14 securities and credits.

It is worth mentioning that, MP Aboul Enein has called for investing CBE's unemployed trillion pounds to support the economy.

Moreover, the lawmaker expressed his appreciations for CBE governor Tarek Amer's efforts, noting that the draft law is a great system for reforming and controlling the Egyptian public debt, exchange rates, and all internal and external debts of the government.

He also added that the law faces new currencies and crypto-currencies that swept the whole world, and invaded the American, Chinese and Indian markets and almost penetrated Egypt, but there was a decisive stance to confront them.

In addition, the MP pointed out that CBE has managed to increase banks' capitals during the last period.

“It is unacceptable to find a trillion of pounds without employment, as this represents a great loss at a time when we call for boosting investments as we have great ambitions,” the lawmaker said.
