A late goal by Egyptian forward Mostafa Mohamed granted Galatasaray a 2-1 tough victory over Kasımpaşa in the 25th round of the Turkish League.

Galatasaray had opened the scoring after only nine minutes when Mohamed fired a powerful header, which was denied by Kasımpaşa's keeper, and the ball went to Karim Ogolo, who found it easy to tap into the empty net.

Six minutes after the break, Isaac Telen netted the equalizer for Kasımpaşa.

The 23-year-old Egyptian player netted a late goal in the 89th via a penalty spot, after he stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to seal the victory.

Galatasaray are now in the second spot with 48 points, while Kasımpaşa are in the 12th position with 26 points.
