Egyptian forward Mostafa Mohamed commented on Friday his red card after being sent off during Galatasaray's encounter against MKE Ankaragücü in the Turkish league on Thursday.
The Egyptian forward has been sent off after quarrel with Ibrahim Akdag in the 57th minute in the match, in which his club suffered a 2-1 defeat.
"I was surprised when I saw the Red card. " Mostafa Mohamed said.
"I had no intention to foul the player, but I did not see anyone while I was fighting to maintain my position of the ball," the former Zamalek striker said.
Mohamed moved to the Turkish club on a loan from the White Knights with an option to make the deal permanent.
