Mamelodi Sundowns' head coach Pitso Mosimane has officially announced his resignation from coaching the South African club.
In a statement, the South African manager expressed his sadness and sorrow over leaving the club, noting the he accepted an offer from an international team, with indicating the name of the team.
"It is with a sense of pain and sadness that I announce my departure from Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club. I have accepted an offer to join an international team," Mosimane said.

Sources inside Al Ahly confirmed earlier on Wednesday that Mosimane has signed a 2-year contract with the Red Devils to lead them, succeeding Rene Weiler.
Sources and reports also said that Mosimane will land in Cairo on Friday to start his adventure with the Red Devils, as his coaching staff will include three of his assistants.
Mosimane managed to guide the Brazilians to claim five South African League title, in addition to, the CAF Champions League title in 2016.
