Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane said on Friday that his team is stronger than their rival in the CAF Champions League final Kaizer Chiefs.
The Red Devils are set to clash with The Chiefs on the 17th of July in Mohamed V Stadium in Morocco in the 2021 CAF Champions League final.
“I believe my team is mentally stronger, to be honest,” Mosimane said. “And I think Kaizer Chiefs have the physic, same or a little bit better than us, that’s why they can defend very well.
“But we have been scoring consistently in all our games, even in the national league. We have been having a flow of 2, 3, 4 goals."
“I think we have a slight advantage of experience because we’ve just played in the CAF Super Cup in Qatar, a big game. We’ve just played in the World Cup against Duhail, it was a big game. To play Bayern, it was a big game. To defeat the Comenbol champions, Palmeiras, a big game.
“We’ve played Mamelodi Sundowns, which is a big team in South Africa also, just like Kaizer Chiefs, we’ve gone through. We’ve played Esperance, who have won this tournament back-to-back. They’re always in the final or semi-final, big games.
