Two days after President Vladimir Putin was assigned to activate the movements of Russian warships "in all directions," Moscow announced that it had deployed strategic nuclear submarines in the Pacific Ocean as part of the largest training and test operation for the combat readiness of the Russian naval forces.

And the Russian Ministry of Defense stated in a statement that it had deployed multi-purpose strategic nuclear submarines in the Pacific Ocean as part of the “sudden inspection of the combat readiness of the forces,” and in compliance - as the statement indicated - with the decision of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces (Putin).

The Russian ministry pointed out that «the deployment of strategic nuclear submarines in the aforementioned sites, was accompanied by the development of mechanisms to ensure the exit of nuclear submarines from the stationing point at a naval base on the island of Kamchatka using naval minesweepers to form ships protecting the water area of the forces in northeastern Russia.

According to the Russian Defense Minister, more than 25,000 military personnel, 167 ships, 12 submarines, and 89 aircraft and helicopters are participating in the current exercises. The final phase of the exercises began, which includes the development of missile strikes with electronic launches.
