Kurdish Peshmerga sources said on Monday that at least three mortar shells landed near Erbil International Airport in the semi-autonomous Kurdistan Region of Iraq without causing any casualties, Reuters reported.
One of the shell fell near a residential area, leaving three people wounded, Kurdish security officials said.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
