Zamalek's chairman Mortada Mansour denied on Sunday the rumors circulated about his resignation for the White Knights presidency during the last hours.
The Egyptian Olympic Committee on Sunday, October 4, banned Mansour from practicing any sporting activities for four years and called for running new elections for Zamalek’s presidency.
"I have not and will not resign from Zamalek's presidency. Persons, who spread these rumors, are attempting to undermine the club’s stability, and they are Qatar’s agents in Egypt," Mansour said in statements.
Raja are set to host the White Knights in the first leg of the semi-finals at Mohamed V Stadium.
