Morsi Buried in Cairo: Media Reports

Ousted President Mohamed Morsi was buried at a cemetery eastern Cairo, according to local media reports on Tuesday. The Brotherhood leader passed away on Monday during a court session in a case dubbed in media as “Espionage with Hamas”.

Other reports claimed that Morsi was buried in Nasr City, northern Cairo.

Earlier, Cairo’s prosecution office issued a burial permit for the dead outlawed Brotherhood leader after receiving the forensic report on the causes of death.

In another statement issued by the Attorney- General Nabil Sadek on Monday, no recent injuries were found on the body of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood leader.
