King Mohamed VI of Morocco donated 1 billion Moroccan Dirham ($105 million dollars) to the dedicated fund to resist the aftermath of the earthquake.
The fund's account was established on September 11 to receive money denotation for aiding and rescuing people in destroyed areas over Saturday's earthquake.
Earlier, Moroccan authorities announced that the death toll of Saturday's earthquake jumped to 2946, in addition to 5674.
The statement added that the authorities are doing their best to save the injured, housing the homeless, and securing the roads that were impacted by the earthquake.
