The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that tomorrow, Friday, is the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
In a statement, the Ministry said that it observed the crescent moon of Shawwal for the year 1447 AH on Thursday evening, the 29th of Ramadan, corresponding to March 19, 2026, and that the sighting of the crescent was confirmed according to Islamic law. Therefore, the first day of Shawwal, which is Eid al-Fitr, is tomorrow, Friday, March 20, 2026.
