Morocco's Tangier Hosts Libyan MPs Talks

The Moroccan city, Tangier, is hosting Tuesday a dialogue session between members of the Libyan House of Representatives with the aim of resolving the Libyan political crisis.

According to the Morocco World News website, the dialogue began on Monday at the Hilton Tangier Al Houara Resort. It will end on Wednesday, 25 November.

The unilateral session, chaired by the Speaker of the Parliament, Agueela Saleh will serve as an opportunity for internal consultations between the legislature in Tobruk.

About 100 representatives from Tobruk to will attend the meeting, according to the Moroccan news website.

It is noteworthy that the Libyan Parliament, based in the northeastern coastal city of Tobruk, is one of the legislative bodies competing for power in the country. It supports the Libyan National Army (LNA) and its leader, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.
