Moroccan Makeup Artist Khadija Sadik, is one of the distinguished experts in the field of cosmetics. She participated in many fashion shows and competitions, the most recent was Miss Beach competition in the North Coast.
Sadik shared with “SEENews” the latest successful makeup techniques, the trendiest eye makeup as well as her tips for a gorgeous makeup.

The makeup artist stated that there are some basics every woman should know to get her makeup just right, the most important of which is the degree of moisturizing of the internal and external skin.
“The internal hydration can be achieved through a sufficient amount of water, vegetables, and fresh fruits, then comes the role of the external hydration by using creams and serums, which ensures that the foundation will spread well on the skin and that it would not crack,” Sadik said.

*Foundation and its secrets
The makeup artist addressed how to obtain successful makeup, which depends on an even skin tone and choose a foundation that is right for your skin.
“First, a famous brand must be selected, and then we choose a lighter shade of foundation then tone than your skin color because most foundations get oxidized and give a darker tone,” Sadik stated.
The makeup artist also addressed an important point, which is, what to do in the case of failing to find a degree of our skin tone.

“You can use a very dark and light degree, and blend them to get the proper color tone,” Sadik revealed.
She shared a third piece of advice, which is, the importance of using the foundation on the face and neck until it becomes homogeneous.
Sadik stressed on the need to distribute the foundation with “Beauty Blender”, a beauty sponge designed for that purpose.
When using the foundation, the sponge needs to be wet-dry; it is unnecessary to wipe it, as it depends only on applying the foundation gently.

The eyes are the most attractive feature in the face, and a perfect look depends on outstanding eye makeup.
“The first thing that draws my attention, is the eye, and its shape, which makes me select the eye makeup that I will be making,” Sadik stated.

The makeup artist addressed how we no longer see lip liner pencil, which was trendy a while ago.
“Lipstick comes in a palette with a collection of colors, which can be mixed with more than one color to obtain a distinctive color. The current lipstick trend is pale and lens towards calm colors.

- Bronze color is a fashion all the time, whether in summer or winter.
- If you decided on a heavy look for your eye makeup, then use pale colors for the lipstick and vice versa.
