Moroccan Foreign Minister (FM) Nasser Bourita, and his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba, held talks, Monday in Rabat.
During the meeting, both officials stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries in all fields.
In a press conference, Dmytro Kuleba expressed his "pride" in being the first Ukrainian FM to visit Morocco since the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries in 1992.
Kuleba, who is visiting Morocco as part of an African tour, confirmed that he had deliberately chosen to make Morocco his first stop on this tour, "in view of the good relations" between the two countries.
He pointed out that this visit comes within a special framework that reaffirms the excellent bilateral relations that have always existed on the basis of friendship and mutual respect for the strategic interests of both countries.
