The Ministry of the Interior in Morocco revealed the losses and damage caused by strong thunderstorms in a number of prefectures and provinces of the Kingdom.
The ministry said that as of Monday, eighteen deaths had been recorded, while four people are still missing.
The Ministry explained that deaths were recorded in the provinces of Tata (ten people), Errachidia (three people, two of whom are foreigners, one of Canadian nationality and the other of Peruvian nationality), Tiznit (two people), Tinerhir (two people, one of whom is a foreigner of Spanish nationality) and Taroudant ( one person).
It added that a list of four people missing in the Tata region has been compiled, and the search for them continues continuously and diligently.
