Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, UN Climate Change High Level Champion for Egypt and UN Special Envoy on Financing 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, discussed with Noor Bint Ali AlKhulaif, Bahraini Minister of Sustainable Development, Manama's efforts to support economic development in a way that reflects positively on achieving the sustainable development goals.
During their meeting on the sidelines of the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development 2023 in New York, Mohieldin and AlKhulaif reviewed the progress made by Bahrain in implementing SDGs through number of initiatives and programs implemented under the direct auspices of King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa.
