Mohammed bin Rashid Knowledge Foundation Honors Abou El-Enein

Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, honored MP Mohammed Abu El-Enein, Parliament Deputy Speaker, in recognition of his social contribution and key role in serving the Egyptian community.

This came thanks to Abou El-Enein Charitable Foundation efforts which aim at developing society through the implementation of social, health, educational, and cultural projects across all governorates, as well as its active role in the field of humanitarian work, especially its support for efforts to combat Coronavirus via different community-based charitable and humanitarian initiatives and projects to serve people and help them overcome various challenges.

During, the 8th edition of the ‘Watani Al Emarat Humanitarian Work Award’ at a ceremony held at the Etihad Museum, Abou El-Enein's foundation won the ‘Charity Footprint Award’.

Abou El-Enein's word

In his word before the honoring ceremony, Abou El-Enein said that ‘Charity Footprint Award’ is a culmination of the Foundation's efforts, which started its work more than 40 years ago and provided a pure national model in community service and its development in various cultural, knowledge and charitable fields.

He pointed out that the association’s role comes in line with the tremendous efforts of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in providing all means of support and care for the great Egyptian people as well as the comprehensive development path that Egypt is experiencing in various fields.

The lawmaker also emphasized that Abou El-Enein Foundation seeks permanent and continuous development in the services provided to citizens in order to meet their hopes and aspirations.

Abou El-Enein said that the Watani Emirates Award is of great value, as it is launched by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, whose cultural, knowledge and humanitarian activities are branching out all over the world and are respected and appreciated by the whole world.

 

Moreover, the Parliament Deputy speaker thanked His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, for sponsoring such a humanitarian celebration, which brings together distinguished figures in all fields of knowledge, culture, science, and volunteer work around the Arab world.

 

Other winners included Abu Dhabi Police, which won the ‘Security Footprint Award’; Sudanese Businessman Ashraf Alkardinal, who won the ‘Hope Footprint Award’; Emirati writer Ali Alhamli, who won the ‘Pen Footprint Award’; and Dr. Sultan Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research, who won the ‘Idea Footprint Award’.
