Mohamed Sobhi to perform a new play

After not being able to perform due to COVID-19 at the end of the last year, Egypt's remarkable star Mohamed Sobhi is currently rehearsing for his new musical and comic play titled ”Nogoom el Doher”, which he will soon be displayed at his theater in Sama Sonbul.

Theater audiences are back as Sobhi joins his fellow cast for rehearsals ahead of the 'Nogoom el Doher' (Noon Stars play).

In the same context, Sobhi has teamed up with the theater writer Ayman Fatiha in Sonbul City for the start of practice sessions for The Noon Stars show.

It's worth mentioning that the maven Egyptian actor and theatrical director Sobhy's latest play “Ana w el Nahla w el Dabour” ( Me and the Bee and the Hornet) was broadcasted on Ten TV in Eid el Adha, 2020.

Sobhi was born on March 3, 1948, in Cairo. The talented actor and director graduated from the Institute of Drama in 1970 and continued to teach until 1984.

Throughout his career, Sobhi has won several national and international awards, including Doctor Soaad El Sabbah for intellectual creativity (1991), Honorary Certificate in the Arabic theatre ceremony (1994), Best Egyptian Actor (1996,1998), and The Best Director Golden Lion Award (1999-2001).
