Mohamed Fouad Sings for (Lifeboats) Initiative

The Ministry of Immigration released the official song for the Presidential Initiative to combat illegal immigration (Lifeboats) initiative to sound the alarm on a phenomenon that has claimed the lives of thousands of young people.

The song’s lyrics are sending a warning message to the governorates that witnesses illegal immigration, by presenting influential scenes from the death journeys, and the horrors that young people face during these travels.

The song comes as part of the media campaign launched by the ministry to promote and publish the goals of (Lifeboats) initiative.

The song is sung by Mohamed Fouad, composed and distributed by the Karim Abdel-Wahab, written by Mohi Hawar, and directed by Tamer Nasr and Yassin Hussein.

The song has a message by great star Ahmed Fouad Selim, advising the Egyptian youth to learn a craft, and to be patient in achieving dreams and reaching desired hopes, in addition to presenting examples of all development projects during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The Minister of Immigration, Nabila Makram, expressed her sincere thanks to the parties involved in the initiative, in cooperation with the Department of Morale Affairs of the Armed Forces, the Egyptian Navy, the General Directorate of Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior, and the "PCC" Advertising agency.

Makram pointed out that the initiative expresses Egypt's comprehensive strategy to confront illegal immigration and human trafficking, noting that the initiative was launched by the Ministry of Immigration with a direct assignment from the President of the Republic at the concluding session of the World Youth Forum 2019.
