Egyptian actor, Mohamed Farag said Wednesday that he filmed a music video entitled "Doqi Ya Mazika", which will be screened at the closing ceremony of the 4th edition of El Gouna Film Festival (GFF).
Farag expressed, in a press statement, his happiness over the experience, especially since it was the first time as a singer, stressing that it was a different experience for him.
The music video will also feature many celebrities including, Yousra, Laila Olwy, Bassel Khayyat, Amina Khalil, Arwa Gouda, Salma Abu Deif, Injy El Mokkaddem, Bushra, Nardin Faraj, and Hilda Khalife.
"Doqi Ya Mazika", directed by Maryam El Bagoury, wrapped filming two days ago.
The festival launched last Friday its fourth edition, amid strict Coronavirus measures and the attendee of Egyptians, Arab, and international celebrities and filmmakers. The festival will conclude on October 31.
On the other hand, Farag is set to participate in the 2021 drama marathon with TV series “El Ekhteyar ll” (The Choice 2), starring Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Mekky.
The series is written by Hany Sarhan and directed by Peter Mimi. It is slated to begin filming at the end of November.
Farag's latest artistic work is film, “The black box”, which hit is currently in the cinemas.
The film also stars Mona Zaki, Mostafa Khater, Sherif Salama, Asmaa Galal, and others.
The plot revolves around a pregnant woman (Zaki), who on her birthday, is held hostage as three thieves break into her house.
It is written by Ahmed and Haitham El Dahan and directed by Mahmoud Kamel. The film is produced by Synergy Films, New Century production, and Misr International Films.
“The black box” marks Zaki’s comeback to the silver screen after four years of absence.
