I wasn't surprised that MP Mohamad Abou El-Enein, the parliament deputy speaker, was chosen to be a member of the Supreme Advisory Board of he National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations, which is considered one of the councils that influence the US decision regarding the Arab region.

For the first time in 40 years, an Egyptian and African has been chosen to be a member in the Supreme Advisory Board of The National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations, which includes opinion leaders in the Arab world and the United States of America, such as former defense ministers, public figures and generals.

In fact, it is a great choice as MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein loves the soil and land of Egypt, he also has 25 years of political and parliamentary experience and is considered one of the symbols of parliamentary diplomacy in Egypt.

Parliament deputy speaker Mohamed Abou El Enein

Earlier, he was elected as the president of the Euro-Mediterranean Parliament, with the unanimous decision of more than 26 countries around the Mediterranean, and he also has a great deal of communication. We remember when he met Ban Ki-moon and a statement that the June 30 revolution was a popular one supported by the army was issued , then US policy’s view of the revolution in Egypt changed.

I participated in and followed up many of his meetings with this council members, in which he discussed Egypt's message, achievements and concerns and presented videos about Egypt's achievements during the past 8 years, what the heroic President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is doing for the sake of the new republic and what Egypt has witnessed in terms of development in various economic, political, social and tourism fields, he also clarified the rights that women and youth acquired in the new republic.

I have known MP Mohamed Abou El Enein for many years, but I consider myself as an eyewitness to his accomplishments.

This position was reflected in the statement of National Council Founding President and CEO Dr. John Duke Anthony when he said, “We are honored that His Excellency Mohamed Abou El Enein has accepted our invitation to join the Council’s Advisory Board. The diversity of his successful endeavors in the commercial, public service, and philanthropic sectors serve as a testament to his future-focused analytical abilities. His Excellency is an accomplished ‘bridge builder’ who has advanced Egypt’s relationships and cooperation efforts in Africa, Europe, the United States, and beyond. He will be an extraordinarily valuable advisor and strategic conceptualizer as we work to continuously improve, strengthen, and expand the Council’s U.S.-Arab relations leadership development and cross-cultural educational efforts.”

All my appreciation to the great men of Egypt, including politicians, scholars, parliamentarians, and patriotic businessmen who defended the interests of their country.

All my appreciation to Parliament Deputy Speaker Mohamed Abou El-Enein.
