The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately hot weather to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Northeastern Coast, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Sunday.

Hot weather is also expected to hit South Sinai, while the Northwestern Coast experiences moderate weather. Scorching weather is also expected for South Upper Egypt.

There is a chance of light rainfall prevailing in Northwestern Coast and North Lower Egypt.

Winds will occur occasionally across the country. In addition, low clouds will be visible over Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern coast.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience low to moderate waves, ranging between 1 and 1.75 meters in height varying between northwest to northeast surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moreover, pleasant weather is also expected to prevail in most parts of the country, at night.

Moderate weather is set to hit South Sinai and south of the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 31°C in Cairo, 27°C in Alexandria, 26°C in Matruh, 36°C in Sohag, 40°C in Qena, and 41°C in Aswan.
