The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately hot to hot weather will prevail in most of the country during Friday's daylight hours.
Extremely hot weather is also expected to prevail in South Upper Egypt.
The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.
There is a chance of light rainfall prevailing intermittently in Cairo, North Coast, North Lower Egypt, the Western Sahara, and North Upper Egypt.
Wind speeds between 30 and 40 kilometres per hour (km/h) are expected to occasionally occur in Cairo, the North Coast, and South Sinai.
Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height with northwest surface winds.
Moderately hot weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night, turning moderate in the early morning.
The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 30°C in Cairo, 26°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 33°C in Sohag, 34°C in Qena, and 37°C in Aswan.
