Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has been shortlisted for the ‘African Player of the Year’ Award in the CAF Awards 2019.
Noteworthy, Salah scooped the award last season after an intense competition with the Senegalese Sadio Mane and the Gabon International Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Earlier this month, Time Magazine nominated Salah for “Time’s Person of the Year for 2019” Award on Sunday.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the 10-man shortlist of the prestigious award.
The 28th edition of CAF annual football awards is set to be held on Tuesday, 7 January 2020, at Citadel Azure, Hurghada, Egypt.
The winner will be decided through a vote on the Magazine’s official website and will be announced on December 11. Time hailed the iconic Egyptian star, describing him as “a better human being than he is a football player.
