Misr El Kheir Foundation continued aiding Aswan’s residents through participating in the governorate’s national day as part of the political directives of helping Aswan’s people.
Ahmed Youssef, the director of direct aid at the foundation, said that the National Day of Aswan is a remarkable chance for the civil community to participate in projects of development and improvement that are dedicated to the needy families and in the framework of President Sisi’s directive orders for providing decent life to all citizens.
Youssef added that 50,000 blankets, 219,000 boxes of goods, 13,000 hot meals, 6000 recited cards for getting winter children’s clothes were distributed since the beginning of the winter, and the majority of these aid were dedicated to Upper Egypt’s citizens.
Moreover, 11 houses were inspected yesterday on the sidelines of the “Sakan Wa Dafa” (Shelter and Warmth) initiative for improving and restoring the quality of the houses and their ceilings, in addition to providing them with necessary materials.
Finally, he concluded that Misr El Kheir seeks human development and providing him with a decent life, adding that on the occasion of Aswan’s national day, boxes of goods and blankets were distributed to 100 families in the city, and the foundation is working on meeting the rest of their demands.
