Misk Media Forum Kicks off in Egypt

Egypt is hosting Misk Media Forum 2019 today. The forum is being organized by Mohammed bin Salman's charity foundation- Misk Charity's Initiatives Center and will run for one day.

During 8 sessions, 10 workshops, and a number of presentations by leading media organizations, many topics related to digital content will be discussed.

The distinguished guests who will take part in the event include:  Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Osama El Naqli, the Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Abu El Gheit, Hetman firm founder Steve Brazil, former Saudi footballer Nawaf El-Tamyat, former Egypt goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary, the sports head at Sky News Arabia Ali El-Qarni and the  head of Abu Dhabi Sports channels Yaqoub El Saeed.

Other guests include Hind Boumeshmer, MBC program presenter, Bassem El Hadi, founder of Shuraim and CEO of Kigami Agency, General Manager of creative department at Etez Studios Abdullah Majid, Chairman of Bahrain Journalists Association Ahdia Ahmed Al Sayed, and editor in chif of El-Watan newspaper Mahmoud Musallam.

On other hand, Misk Media Forum confirmed its keenness on combating media content counterfeiting and on raising awareness of ways to deal with media to avoid drifting behind rumors and destructive ideas.

The forum also seeks to contribute to the consolidation of values and ethics, taking into account the recipients of different ages, genders and educational backgrounds.

Arts VS. Digital Streaming Platforms

The event includes special presentations on digital experiences, including a show displaying how a 20-year-old man was able to reach millions of views on YouTube by creating an interesting scientific content. This is in addition to a series of presentations to be staged in the social arena.
