A report authored by experts of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development revealed an improvement in several sectors of the Egyptian economy, including the revenues of the Suez Canal, which increased by more than 20%.

The report showed a noticeable improvement in Egypt's exports of natural gas, as well as an improvement in the tourism sector.

It indicated that the Egyptian economy was affected by several global repercussions, starting from Covid-19 along with the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The report stressed that the Egyptian economy has all the basics that make it able to overcome this exceptional period, referring to the national program for structural reforms, which depends on more stimulation of the private sector, and boosting the efficiency of the labor market in the field of technical education, in addition to working to increase exports.
