Comm. Min. Launches Electronic Signature Services in Egypt

Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt, witnessed the launching ceremony of the electronic signature services "Delta Trust" in cooperation between Telecom Egypt "WE" and Delta Electronic Systems, which obtained a license to practice the activity of providing electronic signature services.

Under this cooperation with Delta Electronic Systems, Telecom Egypt WE, the first integrated operator of communications and information technology services in Egypt, provides electronic signature services to companies and inpiduals through its branches, and sales centers, which contributes to expanding the base of electronic signature use and raising work efficiency administration and enhancing digital services provided to citizens.

This step comes in line with the state’s orientation towards implementing a digital transformation strategy, whereby new services provide citizens with the necessary tools to deal with digital services, such as the services of the tax authority, customs, Investment Authority, social insurance, and other governmental and non-governmental services that are automated, successively.
