Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, confirmed in front of the plenary session of the Senate that the plan for the year 22/2023 aims to make a big investment boom.
The minister explained that for the second year in a row, the estimated investments exceed one trillion pounds, to record about 1.45 trillion pounds, compared to the investments for the year 21/2022 amounting to 1.24 trillion pounds, with a rate of growth of about 17%
Al-Saeed emphasized that this investment boom finds its basis in the national projects that are intended to be established and expanded through investments by public economic authorities, in the fields of energy, land reclamation, water resource development and rationalization of their uses, development of the Egyptian countryside, housing and reconstruction projects, and educational and health services development programs.
