Engineer Mohamed Salah El-Din Mustafa, Minister of State for Military Production, met with Dr. Kemoko Diakite, Ambassador of Senegal to Egypt, to discuss and support aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister Mohamed Salah welcomed the Senegalese ambassador and his accompanying delegation, stressing the strength of the (Egyptian-Senegalese) relations as Egypt was one of the first countries to recognize the Republic of Senegal immediately after its independence, and diplomatic relations were exchanged since 1960, which made relations between the two countries distinguished.
The two sides discussed the possibility of opening horizons for joint cooperation between military production companies and similar Senegalese companies in many different fields of manufacturing.
For his part, Dr. Kemoko Diakite, Ambassador of the State of Senegal to Egypt, thanked Minister Mohamed Salah for the good reception and hosting. The Senegalese Ambassador praised the expertise and capabilities of the Egyptian Ministry of Military Production and its affiliated entities, which are the first pillar of military industrialization in Egypt and one of its most important industrial arms, praising the role of "Military Production ministry" to support the Egyptian state's efforts to achieve sustainable development
