CAIRO, Sept. 29 (SEE)- Minister of Industry and Trade Amr Nasar visited today Cairo's International motor show "'Automech Formula" celebrating its 25th silver anniversary this year. Nasar also held talks with number of companies' representatives.
Almost half million visitors attended the biggest international automotive exhibition in Egypt, Middle East and North Africa.
The exhibition which takes place in Egypt's International Exhibition Center in New Cairo (Fifth Settlement) on an area of 45,000 sqm, runs from Sept.26 till Sept.30.
Head of CPA (Consumer Protection Agency) brigade Rady Abd-El-Moaty inaugurated the exhibition on behalf of Nasar who was expected to open it because he accompanied the Egyptian president Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during his visit to New York.
More than 40 brands that will launch nearly 50 new models in 2019 participated in the event.
The crowds were interested to see Korean made cars including Hyundai and Kia taking part in the event.
Visitors also watched Subaru Nissan cars in addition to expensive cars such as Porsche GT2 R 911, Lexus LS500 and Jaguar F-Type being displayed in the exhibition.
