Egypt's Minister of Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsy attended Sunday the inauguration of the 'Dubai Airshow 2021' exhibition.
The event, hosted in Dubai, will run till November 18.
In press statements, Morsy noted that "Dubai Airshow" represents a global platform that brings together international pioneers in the aviation, space, and defense sectors.
Moreover, he added that his participation comes in light of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to follow up on the extent of development in the field of defense industries, in preparation for the holding of the Egypt International Defense and Security Exhibition "EDEX 2021".
It is worth mentioning that, this year’s edition is witnessing the participation of 1,200 exhibitors from 148 countries, more than 370 new and emerging companies, as well as about 40% of decision-makers, industry stakeholders, and experts in the field of aviation around the world.
