Italian authorities announced the recovery of the body of the daughter of British billionaire Mike Lynch, the last missing victim in the tourist yacht incident that sank in Italia's Palermo due to bad weather conditions.
The Italian newspaper "La Repubblica" said, Friday, that fire brigade divers recovered the body of Hannah Lynch, 18 years old, after five days of search operations off the coast of Sicily.
It indicated that she was found inside the hull of the tourist boat that sank at a depth of 50 meters at the bottom of the sea, and an autopsy is scheduled to be conducted on the bodies of the victims of the accident in the coming hours.
Palermo witnessed the sinking of the yacht that was carrying 22 people due to bad weather conditions.
The search continued for six missing persons, including British billionaire Mike Lynch, the chairman of Morgan Stanley International and his wife, and Mike Lynch's lawyer and his wife. Mike Lynch's daughter was the last victim to be found.
It is noteworthy that Mike Lynch, nicknamed the British Bill Gates, 59 years old, is the founder of the multinational information technology company Autonomy.
Mike Lynch was recently acquitted in the United States of an $11 billion fraud case.
