Meta, owner of Facebook, entered the trillion club after the company's market value exceeded $1 trillion during trading on Wednesday, reaching the trillion dollar mark for the first time since June 2021.
Meta shares rose by 2% on Wednesday, exceeding the levels of $395 for the first time in its history, bringing the company’s market value to about $1.02 trillion, according to CNBC.
Meta stock rose by 194% in 2023 and by more than 11% since the beginning of this year, supported by optimism that the owner of Facebook will achieve its best annual financial performance ever.
