Met Gala to Return in 2021

The Met Gala, one of Hollywood's biggest star-studded events of the year, will take place this year.

The glamorous party was canceled in 2020 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The Met Gala is a fundraising gala for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute. It is essentially an annual ball that marks the opening of the Costume Institute's annual fashion exhibit as well as serves as a glamorous arena of high fashion for designers and celebrities.

The gala is hosted annually on the first Monday in May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. It has been around since 1946.

According to Page Six, the gala will be delayed from its usual date, and instead, it will host the event on September 13.
