In a shocking announcement, a journalist close to Barcelona revealed that the Italian club Juventus had offered its top soccer, Cristiano Ronaldo, to the Catalan club with its ultimate star Messi, to get rid of his huge salary.

According to the Spanish journalist Guillem Ballagh, Juventus contacted with Barcelona in order to sell Ronaldo, in a deal that might bring the two Millennium football legends, Lionel Messi and Ronaldo, together in one team.

Balagh stated that ''Juventus wants to get rid of Ronaldo's huge salary, which exceeds 30 million euros yearly, so they began to contact the major European clubs, including Barcelona.''

Balagh also mentioned that ''Ronaldo has been offered for sale to many clubs, including Barcelona. I'm not sure if they can sell him with his huge salary, who will pay him that money?”

This is the first time that the dream which is Messi playing alongside Ronaldo in one team might come true, a possibility that has always represented a discussion for fans.

Although the possibility of Ronaldo moving to Barcelona is very low, the idea of selling him does make sense to Juventus financially, as the expenses of keeping Ronaldo are very huge, and the Italian champion is seeking to rebuild the team and rely on young people, since the appointment of Andrea Pirlo as coach of the team.
