On Tuesday, Egyptian-Canadian renonwed actor Mena Massoud posted on Instagram the first official poster of his first Egyptian film, 'Fi Ez El Dohr,' (In Broad Daylight).
Massoud expressed that he is pleased to be part of the film's crew, and he teased that more good news is on the way.
Last month, the actor unveiled some details regarding his new role in the “Fi Ez El Dohr” film during a press conference.
He said that he is very pleased to perform the character of “Hamza” in the film, adding that he likes the cooperation with an ambitious director as Morcous Adel.
The actor highlighted that the new film asserts the great role of Egypt as the land of civilization and Pyramids not a land of terrorism.
He also revealed that he is working on improving his Arabic skills for the film.
On the other hand, a number of the film’s stars attended the conference such as Hana El Zahed, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Ehab Fahmy, and Ahmed Gamal Saed alongside the scriptwriter Karim Sorour.
Early January, the actor arrived in Egypt for preparing himself for his first-ever Egyptian film.
In a statement to Et bil Arabi, he expressed his happiness on being in Egypt for the film, wishing the production would achieve remarkable success and meet the approval of the public.
He had a tour in the pyramids and he was accompanied by the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr. Khaled El Anani, and Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Nabila Makram.
