Egyptian-Canadian actor Mena Massoud arrived Wednesday night in Egypt to shoot his first-ever Egyptian film “Fi Ez El Dohr” (In Broad Daylight).
It also stars Hannah El Zahed, Mohamed Ali Rizk, Ehab Fahmy, Ahmed Gamal Saed, Mohamed Ezz, Mahmoud Hegazy, and others.
The film is written by Karim Sorour and directed by Markos Adel.
Massoud had been busy with his new movie "The Royal Treatment", starring Laura Marano.
It is directed by Rick Jacobson and written by Holly Hester.
The story centers around Isabella and Prince Thomas. Isabella runs her own salon, while Prince Thomas runs his own country and is about to marry for duty rather than love. When Izzy and her fellow stylists get the opportunity of a lifetime to do the hair for the royal wedding, she and Prince Thomas learn that taking control of their own destiny requires following their hearts.
Massoud is also set to reprise his title role in the forthcoming Aladdin sequel, which will be directed by Guy Ritchie.
